Celebrating the Strength, Confidence
and Complexities of the Female Spirit

I've been blessed with travels, adventure and some pretty amazing people in my life.  My work is an accumulation of these memories and experiences that inspire a constant sense of wonder and inspiration.

Working with clay is a form of meditation for me and essential. It allows my imagination a voice and provides an alluring mystery as each piece unfolds. I start with a basic idea, the outcome is always uncertain until that final moment of completion. This is the joy of creating!

My work in ceramic sculpture has been consistently figurative, with an emphasis on adaptations of the female form. I am drawn to smooth, flowing, surfaces and intrigued by the idea of balance without symmetry.  I strive to create a movement in each piece that suggests a sense of the grace, confidence and complexities of the female spirit. They are perfectly empowered in their imperfect forms and that’s what is so alluring to me.  It’s that beautiful, harmonious “thing” that is the connection between us all - art.

I offer this part of me to bond to you in some small but essential way ~
